This is my favorite desert in the world! My mother always made 2 at a time... One with the traditional chocolate pudding and one with pistachio pudding. If you like this desert I urge you to try it with pistachio pudding next time. It's way better than the chocolate one...and I'm a chocolate freak!

My step mom found out on my 20th birthday that I had never had a birthday cake before! So she quickly scrambled to the kitchen and made me one of these bad boys. Since then, my step mom makes one for me every year on my birthday. However, with my birthday 6 months away I decided I wanted one NOW. So at 11pm I trotted off to the store to get the ingredients I was missing. I had never myself made it before, and followed the recipe above exactly (with the exception that I used butterscotch pudding instead of chocolate) and holy SMOKES was it delicious! That 2nd layer.. the Cream Cheese, Powdered Sugar, and Cool Whip... is the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. Why on earth don't we have more uses for that combination? I think I might try to frost some cupcakes with it! Haha :)

Delicious dessert! You can also substitue cherry or bluberry pie filling for the pudding and it is just as fantastic!

I make this Better Than Sex Cake with butterscotch pudding instead of chocolate - fantastic!!!

I LOVE THIS CAKE! I use it for my family's passover dinner, I just tell them it is a passover cake, not the real name of the cake; now for my first layer I also add chocolate chips and a little vanilla flavoring to give it that chocolate chip cookie taste and the top layer I put the chocolate chips and the nuts on top and my family loves it, it has become the traditional cake for our family passover dinner.

I use Strawberry pudding and it's beyond amazing!!!

My mom use to make this when i was younger. She used Butterscotch and Chocolate Puddings and called it mudslide. So Good!!

My family and I have enjoyed this recipe for the last 15 plus yrs. Nobody ever believe me it was really called Better Than Sex Cake. When I googled it today and the recipe came up the same exact ingredients and way I prepared it, lets just say I finally won the bet.
