PILLOWS AND POPCORN 
1/4 c. butter
4 c. bite size rice cereal squares
6 c. freshly popped corn
1 can (3 oz.) French fried onions
1/2 c. grated American cheese

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan in oven as it preheats. Stir in cereal, popcorn and onions; stir lightly to coat with butter. Sprinkle cheese over top; toss again.

Bake, stirring once, 15 minutes or until popcorn and cereal are hot and crisp. Season lightly with salt if you like.

Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Store in a covered container. Yield: 10 cups.
