CROWN JEWEL CAKE | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello 3 c. hot water 1 1/2 c. cold water 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. pineapple juice 2 env. Dream Whip topping mix Mix each (orange, cherry and lime) favor of Jello separately in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Then add 1/2 cup cold water to each flavor. Place each flavor in an 8x8 inch pan and refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Set a few of each aside for garnish. Dissolve lemon Jello and sugar in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in pineapple juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Prepare Dream Whip per package directions. Blend Dream Whip into slightly thickened lemon Jello. Fold in orange, cherry and lime cubes. Spoon into 9-inch springform pan. Chill until firm, at least 5 hours or overnight. Just before serving, run a spatula around sides of pan; then gently remove sides. Garnish with orange, cherry and lime cubes. |
