MIXED BREAD STUFFING WITH
CRANBERRIES
 
1 1/2 c. cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
1 to 1 1/4 c. chicken broth or water
1 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 c. dry whole wheat bread cubes
4 c. dry white bread cubes

Mix together cranberries and sugar. In saucepan or skillet cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Remove from heat and stir in poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. In a large bowl combine bread cubes. Add celery mixture and cranberry mixture; toss to mix. Add enough chicken broth or water to moisten; toss. Use to stuff one 10 to 12 pound turkey. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
