OLD RUSSIAN VODKA BEET BORSCHT 
1 1/2 c. jellied consomme
1 1/2 c. cooked beets, finely chopped with juice
1 c. sour cream
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. chopped chives
1/2 c. vodka

Blend ingredients, add vodka last. Mix well. Chill.
