CURRIED CHICKEN 
1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut in pieces
4 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
4 stalks celery, chopped
4 sm. onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. strong curry powder
2 apples, cubed
1 banana, diced
2 tsp. tomato paste

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Saute chicken in butter until golden brown. Add onions, celery, garlic, curry powder, apples and banana. Cook 5 minutes. Add tomato paste and broth. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes. Serve over rice.
