PINEAPPLE TORTE 
1 pkg. (sm.) yellow cake mix (Jiffy brand)

Bake according to directions on box. (Spread this batter in a 9 x 13 inch pan). Reduce baking time.

At room temperature whip 2 packages (8 ounce each) Philadelphia cream cheese with 1 package vanilla instant pudding and 2 cups of milk. Spread over cake.

Drain 2 large cans pineapple chunks and spread over mixture of cheese and pudding. Then spread with whipped cream (Cool Whip) and sprinkle with almond slivers.
