2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
3 c. quick cooked oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. to 1 c. nuts, optional

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful on waxed paper. Let stand to cool and set.
