3 eggs
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs lightly, add sugar, stir in melted butter, add other ingredients, pour into pie shell and bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes, turn off oven and bake pie for 5 minutes longer.
