BLACK WALNUT BARS 
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Cream together.

1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and add.

1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. black walnuts

Add; spread in a greased 8x8 pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes for 350 degrees; frost with 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 to 2 tablespoons evaporated milk or cream, 4 tablespoons butter and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
