1 box brown sugar
4 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients (sifted together). Mix thoroughly add vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased oblong pan 2 inch deep. Bake in 375 degree oven 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting in squares. Leave in oven 10 to 15 minutes to cool.
