PEAR HONEY 
1 lb. ground pears (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. canned crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar

Wash, peel and core fruit. Put pears through a food chopper, using coarse blade. Mix all ingredients and heat mixture, stirring thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Boil mixture in hot standard canning jars. Adjust jar lids and bands. Process in boiling water bath canner (212 degrees f.) - pints and quarts, 10 minutes. Makes 2 pints or 4 (4 ounce) jars.
