8 c. chopped pears 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple 6 c. sugar Juice of 1 lemon Wash, peel and core fruit. Put pears through a food chopper or food processor using coarse blade. Mix pears, sugar, pineapple and lemon juice. Heat mixture stirring thoroughly, until sugar is dissolved. Boil mixture until it is thick and clear. Pack in jars. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. |
