ORANGE-SOUR CREAM LOAF 
8 tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature
1 c. granulated sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tbsp. freshly grated orange peel
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream

In large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar at high speed 5-7 minutes or until pale and fluffy - scrape sides of bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add orange peel, scrape bowl. In another bowl, combine dry ingredients, stir to mix well.

With electric beater on low, add about 1/2 cup of flour mix. Without waiting to mix in completely, add about 1/3 of a cup sour cream. Add remaining flour and cream, ending with flour. Blend well. Spread in greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
