RHUBARB BUNDT CAKE | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 egg 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. buttermilk 2 c. cut up rhubarb 1 tsp. vanilla Combine shortening, sugars and egg. Add dry ingredients with buttermilk. Stir in rhubarb and vanilla. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Place 1/2 sugar mixture in bottom of greased bundt pan. Pour in batter. Top with remaining sugar mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. |
