1/2 c. shortening
1 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
3 c. flour

Cream shortening and molasses. Add part of flour and rest of dry ingredients. Add milk and rest of flour alternately. Chill dough. Roll out and cut into circles. Bake in 350 degree oven. Frost while still warm with pink powdered sugar frosting.
