2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. wheat germ

Beat eggs and buttermilk together. Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg-milk mixture. Beat until smooth. Add oil. Fry on griddle over medium high heat.
