FRIED CORN 
8 ears corn
3 to 4 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 c. milk
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 to 1 tsp. sugar
3 to 4 tbsp. butter

Cut corn from ears. Scrape down the cob with knife to remove milk. Have skillet warm, add drippings and corn. Add a little water if it becomes too dry. It needs to be soupy. Stir constantly and cook about a minute. Now add milk, pepper, salt and sugar. Simmer about 15 minutes. Stir often. Add the butter the last few minutes of cooking.
