LEMON CAKE 
1 sm. (3 oz.) lemon Jello
1 c. hot water
1 pkg. yellow lemon deluxe cake mix
3/4 c. Crisco oil
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
4 eggs, beat one at a time
Grated lemon rind of 1 or 2 lemons

Dissolve lemon Jello in hot water; let cool. Mix cake mix with oil. Add lemon flavoring. Add beaten eggs, one at a time. Add lemon rind and cooled Jello. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

ICING:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
2/3 c. lemon juice

Remove cake from oven and punch holes all over top with meat fork. Mix confectioners' sugar and lemon juice together. Mixture will be thin, but use all of it. Pour over warm cake.
