BERRIES AND CREAM 
2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 c. fresh blueberries
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Mint to garnish

In a medium saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water. Cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until the sugar dissolves and the sauce starts to thicken. Stir in the berries and turn off the heat. Cool in the refrigerator and serve over ice cream. Garnish with a sprig of mint. Serves 4.
