CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 fryer or hen, boiled tender
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
Cold water, enough to make dough as you need to roll out

Have chicken and broth boiling and drop rolled out dumplings in. Cook until tender, then add butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste. Will make a large one or you may use half or 1/4 or 3/4 of recipe.
