1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. hickory nuts
1 pkg. mince meat
1 c. candied fruit
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients, pour in a tube cake pan. Bake in 325 degree oven until cake turns lose around edges of pan. Turn out on a cake plate.
