CHICKEN POT PIE | |
4 halves chicken breast, cooked & chopped 1 sm. pkg. mixed vegetables 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1 c. Bisquick 1 c. buttermilk Stir fry or boil your cut up (bite size pieces) of chicken breasts. Cook method is personal preference. Mix soup with chicken and mixed frozen vegetables (amount of vegetables is approximately 1 1/2 cups). Add approximately 1/4 teaspoon pepper and salt to taste. Put ingredients into casserole dish. Mix buttermilk with Bisquick. May not have to use all of milk. You want the consistency of moist dumplings...to be able to drop on top of chicken-soup mixture. Drop by spoonfuls to cover top of casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 4 healthy size servings or 6 moderate size servings. |
