ANGEL BISCUITS #1 
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water
2 c. buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening and add yeast and buttermilk, mixing well. Roll dough out on lightly floured surface. Cut with small biscuit cutter. Bake on greased sheet in preheated 400 degree oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
