SNOWFLAKE YEAST BISCUITS 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 cake yeast
1 1/2 c. flour

Scald milk, add sugar, salt and Crisco. When lukewarm add yeast to dissolve, add flour. Beat well and let rise. Add 1/2 cup flour to knead. Roll 1/2 inch thick, cut, brush with butter. Fold over and bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
