NO FUSS BISCUITS
2 cups all purpose flour
3 cups buttermilk
1 stick unsalted butter, frozen
2 tbsp. oil for pan
some flour for counter
4 tbsp. unsalted butter

Butter a 9-inch pan or cake pan.

Put flour in bowl cut butter into cubes and add to flour. With hands, work butter into flour until it resembles corn meal. Make a well in center of flour gradually add buttermilk. With a big spoon, mix until all flour is moist. Put a pan (cake pan or any 9-inch pan) in oven while it is preheating at 350°F.

Put flour on counter. Put a generous coating of flour on your hands to keep from sticking. Push biscuit mix to the side of the bowl. Pinch off a tennis ball size and roll into ball. Put back in bowl next to the mix.

Continue to roll the mixture up until all of it has been used. Remove pan from oven and coat with oil.

Put the balls in pan right beside each other. When pan is full, make a fist and gently press each biscuit down. Melt 4 tbsp. butter and brush on biscuits.

Bake until golden-light. Remove from oven and brush with remaining melted butter. Enjoy!

Tip: Always remember; the more you handle the mix the tougher the biscuits.
