DATE NUT LOAF 
Mix 1 cup milk and 3 cups of sugar in a large saucepan and bring to a boil and let cook for 7 minutes then add 2 cups chopped nuts and 1 box chopped dates and cook for 8 minutes more. Then add 1/3 stick butter and beat until good and thick.

Wet a good size cloth (example old pillow case) place cloth on table and pour this mixture in a line across the end of the cloth and roll all the way up.

When cool, unroll cloth and slice loaf.
