DANISH OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Add oatmeal and chopped nuts.

Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool. Makes 4 dozen. (Can be doubled.)
