GEORGIA PECAN PIE 
1 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. pecans, broken in pieces
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. butter
1 deep dish pie shell

Mix corn syrup and brown sugar to dissolve. Bring to a boil in medium saucepan. Beat eggs. Add pecans to sugar mixture, then butter, then eggs, then vanilla. Stir with whisk to blend well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
