GEORGIA PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c. corn syrup
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Mix eggs and corn syrup, add sugar. Stir in salt and vanilla. Mix well. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread pecans evenly on pie shell bottom. Mix melted butter into syrup mixture. Pour over pecans which should rise to top.

Bake at 375°F until center is firm, about 20 minutes.
