FRUIT DESSERT 
1 can peaches, cherries or pears, etc. (undrained)
oleo to dot

Topping:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk

Place undrained fruit in an 8 x 8-inch pan. Mix topping ingredients together and pour over fruit and juice. Dot with butter (or put butter in baking dish first).

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes.
