KEEMA MATER 
2 med. onions
1 clove garlic
3 oz. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ginger
4 tbsp. yogurt
8 oz. shelled peas
1 tsp. garam masala
A few sprigs of coriander
2 green chilies
Lemon juice
Salt to taste

Slice onions finely and chop garlic. Heat fat and fry onions golden brown. Lower heat and add garlic, meat, turmeric, chili, ginger and salt. Fry for 5 minutes. Add yogurt. Mix thoroughly, cover and simmer until the meat is almost cooked. Add the peas, cover and simmer until meat and peas are tender. Sprinkle with garam masala, chopped coriander leaves and green chilies. Add lemon juice, if desired.
