2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 1/2 to 5 c. flour (for soft dough)
Nutmeg (if desired)

Roll on slightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned. (This recipe has been in our family for over 100 years. Grandmother, mother, sister and I have made them. Favorite of grand kids).
