1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped raisins
1/3 c. chopped maraschino cherries

Combine sugar, shortening, eggs, milk and vanilla and cream together. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Blend all ingredients and add remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon into corn flake crumbs and roll lightly into ball. Place balls on cookie sheet and top with one half cherry. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
