BARBEQUED CHICKEN 
1 pt. vinegar
1 pt. water
10 oz. Worcestershire sauce
2 sm. bottles ketchup
2 sticks butter (not butter!)
Texas Pete to taste (about 1/3 bottle)
Salt to taste (3-4 tbsp.)
Pepper to taste (3-4 tbsp.)
10 chicken halves

Mix first eight ingredients and simmer, but do not let sauce boil. Cook chicken slowly (about 2 hours) on open grill. DO NOT PIERCE THE SKIN! Remove from grill. Place chicken in large pot and pour sauce over. Allow to simmer together for 30 minutes. Serves 10.
