LOKSHEN KUGEL
1 (12 oz.) pkg. wide cooked noodles
1 lb. cottage cheese
1 pt. sour cream
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk

Mix everything together in a large bowl. Put into a greased (Crisco) 9x13 pan and drizzle 1/2 cup butter on top. Mix in. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes on top and a little bit of cinnamon and sugar along with the cornflakes.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, it should be nice and brown on the top. This goes well with a meat dish such as brisket. If you add some crushed pineapple or apples along with a teaspoon of vanilla, it becomes a very nice, sweet Kugel and could be used with other kinds of main dishes, even for a brunch dish. Serves 8-10.

I don't know if you want to serve this dairy recipe with a meat dish such as brisket. Try a pareve (no dairy products) kugel that will be just as delicious!
