1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
5 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. English walnuts
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Mix well. Sift flour with baking powder, salt and soda. Add nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Grease bottom of small glass; dip into mixed sugar and cinnamon. Press cookies with glass. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
