CHICKEN OR TURKEY TETRAZZINI 
2 to 3 c. shredded meat
1/2 lb. macaroni or spaghetti
3/4 lb. sauteed mushrooms
1/2 c. slivered almonds
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. whipping cream

Mix meat and noodles together. Add sauteed mushrooms and almonds. Make sauce: 3 tablespoons of butter or chicken fat, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 cups chicken broth, season, remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup heated whipping cream, 3 tablespoons white dry wine. Pour sauce over meat and noodle mixture. Put into greased baking dish. Sprinkle top with grated cheese. Bake at 375 degrees until top is browned.
