3 tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 c. shredded cabbage that has been boiled 2 min.
2 c. mashed potatoes

In heavy frying pan, melt butter, add onion and cook until tender. Add boiled cabbage and mix well. Cook about 2 minutes. Mix in mashed potatoes and press in pan like a pancake. Cook 5 minutes until brown. Turn and brown other side.
