OLD TIMER'S BUBBLE AND SQUEAK | |
1 head cabbage, cut up 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 lb. bacon, fried and drained 5 lg. potatoes peeled and quartered Put cabbage, onion, potatoes and crumbled bacon in a pan; add enough water to cover. Add 2 tablespoons bacon drippings, salt and pepper to taste. Cover; cook until cabbage is tender. |
