NORWEGIAN KRINGLE 
Mix like pie crust:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Add:

1 tbsp. water

Mix and pat on cookie sheet in 2-3 inch strips.

Heat on stove just to boiling point:

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter

Remove from heat and add:

1 c. flour

Mix well and add:

3 eggs, one at a time

Then add:

1 tsp. almond flavoring

Spoon on crust and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Cool and frost with powdered sugar frosting glaze with almond flavoring. Top with slivered almonds or colored sprinkles for the holidays.
