POLISH TEA COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts (ground fine)

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, flour and salt; mix. Add nuts. Roll on floured board as thin as may be easily handled. Cut in small rounds. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Do not over brown. When cool put jam between 2 cookies and dust with confectioners' sugar.
