ELEPHANT STEW | |
1 med. elephant 2 rabbits (optional) 800 lbs. potatoes 1 barrel salt 600 lbs. carrots 100 lbs. onions 2 barrels pepper Cut elephant into bite size pieces. Dice onions, potatoes and carrots. This should take about two months. Make enough brown gravy to cover all. Season to taste. Cook over kerosene fire for about 4 weeks at 465 degrees F. This will serve 3, 800 people. If more are expected, add the rabbits, but only if necessary because most people do not like to find Hare in their elephant stew. |
