P. B. BEARS
2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Decorator's icing
Few drops blue food coloring
4 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. In large mixer bowl, beat peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar until light. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour mixture. Divide dough in half. Wrap in plastic wrap; chill 1 to 2 hours.

Roll dough 1/4" thick. Cut with 3" or 5" bear cutter. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool 1 minute. Remove cookies to wire rack; cool.

Prepare Decorator's Icing, omitting vanilla. Transfer about 1/4 of frosting to small bowl; stir in blue coloring. Pipe onto cookies for eyes. Stir cocoa powder into remaining icing. Pipe onto cookies to make suits and buttons. Makes 48 (3") or 16 (5") bars.
