BLINI 
1 yeast cake
5 c. warm water
2 tbsp. salt
10 c. flour
6 lg. potatoes, grated

Dissolve yeast in warm water; add salt. Add 2 cups flour gradually, mixing well after each addition. Continue adding flour and mixing well, then add grated potatoes. Take a large cube of salt pork; grease bottom of 1 or 2 frying pans (about 7 inch). Pour 1 ladle full of batter into pan, frying on both sides until light brown. Toss out on clean dish towel until slightly cool, then place one upon another. Grease pan after each pancake. Serve with Verascaka (gravy).
