MARY ELLEN'S PECAN SANDIES 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla, water and flour; mix well. Add nuts and form into small balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while hot. Let cool and roll again.
