SALISBURY STEAK | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. crushed cracker crumbs or uncooked oats 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped 1 egg 1/2 c. water 1 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk Mix all ingredients together, except mushroom soup and water. Shape into patties and brown in bacon drippings (I like to make meat balls). Place in baking dish. Mix the soup and water together and pour over patties. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. |
