MOM'S BAKED BEANS | |
large can Pork and Beans (VanCamps) 1 large onion 1 tablespoon ketchup 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tablespoon of your favorite BBQ sauce 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke (more or less, to taste) 1 to 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (I just add to taste - Brown Sugar is the key to this recipe) Empty all ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil. Stir often to keep from sticking. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until thickened. Be sure to stir often. I've made these for years and I haven't had one person that didn't like these. My kids tell all their friends. You should taste Mom's Baked Beans. Submitted by: Cheryl |
