CHOCOLATE ICE BOX PUDDING 
2 doz. lady fingers
5 egg yolks
4 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 pkgs. German sweet chocolate
4 tbsp. water
5 egg whites
1/2 pt. whipping cream or La Creme

Line a loaf pan with wax paper. Place a layer of split lady fingers in bottom of pan. Melt chocolate in upper top of a double boiler. Add sugar and water and egg yolks. Cook until smooth; stirring constantly. Cool. Add vanilla and fold in beaten egg whites. Pour chocolate to cover lady fingers. Place another layer of lady fingers. Continue doing this, end with chocolate. Chill in refrigerator 12 hours. Serve with whipped cream.
