PINEAPPLE NUT ICE BOX PUDDING 
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple
1/2 c. nut meats (pecans or walnuts)
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. vanilla wafer crumbs

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add unbeaten yolks and beat well. Add nuts and pineapple and vanilla. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Spread half of vanilla wafer crumbs on bottom of dish. Put in filling and put the rest of crumbs on top. Chill overnight. (A family favorite! Very rich.)
